I'm an American art teacher living in Toulouse. Each month I sketch one small corner of France (a shuttered window, a Saturday market, a harbor I stumbled into) and mail you a 5×7 print, plus the story behind the page.

I taught art for more than a decade, from Pre-K classrooms to university seminars, and did my master's in art education studying how making art helps us think. Then I moved to Toulouse, where my French is still B1 but my sketchbook is fluent.

Can I buy a past edition?
Most past prints are in the shop while stock lasts. Members get first pick.
Is the sketch lesson for kids too?
Absolutely. Every prompt is written so a curious eight-year-old or a nervous grown-up can try it with just a pencil.
